What happened to Footloose 4x4?
 

Hi all

They were based in Peterborough and I used them for advice on prepping my vehicle before my trip in 2007, then talked to them a few times when I was on the road - Paul Marsh was very good and helpful. But - last night, I noticed on FB that he is now living back in South Africa and with a new partner. Then I googled Footloose 4x4 and they seem to have been wound up - https://www.endole.co.uk/company/044...se-4x4-limited

Anyone have any idea what happened?

Hi Mark,

Paul sold the business to the same company that bought OEC. Both were later wound up. Chris Bishop, who was Paul's general manager, set up Bishops4x4 in Peterborough. He has several ex-FL staff whom I trust to look after my Land Cruisers.

Thanks - I also heard back from Paul on FB (after posting here) and he said 'I sold Footloose in 2012 and the company just did not have what it took to keep it going'. Didn't know it had also happened to OEC - I'd heard of them.
