I think we'll probably have more than one slogan, and perhaps one focused more on the non-English speakers.
It's interesting that trotter translates so well in French and Spanish and Dutch. When I first heard it, my initial thought was of 'globetrotter', which is fine in English, but perhaps overused? Grant thought of a racehorse, so that just shows that even in English, words mean different things in different countries! How about something simple like "7 continents-2 wheels--1 home". I personally would like you to include the www.---.com. It would make it easy for anyone seeing a shirt or mug etc. to find us!

'Bikers Without Borders' Notes: 1) Google returns no hits for this slogan. 2) bikerswithoutborders.com is squatted by someone who doesn't use it but the '.net' and '.org' domains are available, and bikers-without-borders.com too. 3) If I win, I'll need two T-shirts as my girlfriend is riding too. The standard one will definitely have a couple. I have a double feeling about Bikers without Borders. There are several simular organisations: Docters without..., Advocats without..., Pilots without,...
But these are (as far as I know) organisations with a goal / mission. The folks involved voluntary (or semi voluntary) help people out when in need of specific help. I know that advocats without borders are involved in the UN-court of Arusha. Doctors without borders (Medecins sans frontiere) knows everybody. I think we should be carefull by choosing that slogan, it might not yet be claimed as a name for an organisation... it does carry some weight. But, on the other hand, if anyone comes up with an idea how bikers could be of any help in I don't know wich region in trouble: I'll be willing to plan my holiday to go and help out if could do so by riding around somewhere. I am going to have to agree with fireboomer, the 'without borders' name does have greater implications in more than one language. Besides, we all have had problems at one border or another, ie I would be in China right now. I think we should focus more on the nomadic type slogans, and definitely a map should be incorporated somehow or other on the tshirt and mug

Just a few more notions. "your local source-whatever your locale" or "wherever you are-you are here!" Maybe just a variation on your current slogan, "share the world". Just kind of free associating here as I go. Will post more later.
