Posting images from flickr
Posting photos from flickr:
flickr hasn't made it easy, but there is a way. 1: when you're looking at a photo, you'll see at the bottom right of the black area a box with an arrow up to the right, that's the "more ways to share" link. 2: click that and select "Grab the HTML/BBCode" 3: Click BBCode, choose the size you want, probably best 500 or largest 640, and click on the box of code, it will be automatically selected - right click and select copy, or press Ctrl-C or Command-C to copy to the clipboard. 4: Back in your post, click the a/A icon top right of the "Message" box and you get the code view 5: Paste! And the image code is there. 6: Click the a/A icon again and you should see your photo! http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2806/1...bd66afb6a2.jpg Kai-Uwe_Och-130216-070_winterbiking by GrantHorizons, on Flickr Photo by Kai Uwe Och, at the 2013 CanWest Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting. Hope that helps! |
NOTE: Steps 4 and 6 above (clicking a/A icon) aren't necessary, it will work without doing that.
HTML code does NOT work for security reasons. |
Thanks i will try this or will use smugmug or something else.

Note that if you're only doing a few images, your HU account does have upload privileges. (Contributing and Gold Members can post a lot of photos, see the FAQ for details.)
