Grant,
I was thinking that although the 'view todays topics' link is really useful, I always find myself then going to each forum of interest to check if there are any topics posted AFTER I had looked the previous day. So for example if I checked the HUBB at 5pm on the Monday and then someone posted a topic at 6pm that same day, if I then use the 'view todays topics' link on the Tueday I would miss that post unless i went to the specific forum and checked for it. Wouldn't it be useful to have a link to the last 2 days (or even the last 24 hrs), then if you checked it once a day you would not miss anything? ------------------ My website |
Paul,
One thing I didn't realise for ages is that the light bulbs to the left of each forum name show whether or not there have been any new posts since your last visit from the same computer - a useful addition to the 'check daily' option. Not so useful if you keep swapping computers, though! James |
The light bulbs do help, but we are also looking at adding "last 2 days" etc as well. Not easy - we have to write the code ourselves - (in other words get someone to do it for us.) http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif
