Hey everyone,

I've been reading through the site and HUBB for a while preparing for a big upcoming trip through South America, and I figured I should stop lurking and register so I can get to know some of the great folks on here.

Can't wait to get to meet you guys and hopefully see you out on the road :scooter:

Yeah, here's some of the basic info:

Timing: January 17th (coming up quick) - mid May
General route: starting in Buenos Aires, heading up to Rio for Carnival, then going down through Uruguay back to Argentina along the coast all the way down to Ushuaia. After a little bit of time there, I'm going to head up to Mendoza, then over the bass to Santiago.
My Steed: A 2006 KLR I've been riding around and farkling for the past 6 months.
Other info: I'm planning to be doing some work with WWOOF and workaway while I'm down there to meet people and have places to stay. Other than that I'm planning to use a combination of CouchSurfing, hostels and camping.
