Hello to all you biers and would be's; I am just joining this august forum and hope to meet as many of you as possible here. I am 70, with some problems but able to get myself back in shape. I will be trying to get as much sound advice as possible for a tour on a bike yet to be bought, so which one, where and how wwill be the base of my questions.
I look forward to the fellowship and might add that I am a photographer and can help with advice on the subject of photography.

Great to see people of your age joining up and looking for a bike, simply sensational Mon Ami.

As far as bikes go, consider how far youd like to travel how many hours a day you will spend in the saddle and your strength. Possibly a Japanese 250 - 450 maybe a 600 if youre able with a long range tank and panniers ?
