I just got back into riding after 16 years. I only rode locally before but after taking a week long trip through New England last month, I know I want to do more motorcycle travelling.

My goal, wait, no...plan is to take a motorcycle to Europe in 2 years and just ride to all the countries I want to see...with no time frame. I have a 1987 BMW R65 and recently bought a 2009 BMW R1200GS which I plan to use for the trip. I just signed up here to find out more info on how to plan my trip and how to sustain it.

Whatever you need to know someone here will (almost) certainly know it, there is a search function in the top right hand corner as most questions have already been asked at some point.

Hi from nearby Rhode Island. My wife and I flew a pair of bikes to Ireland last year. They are currently in Edinburgh. :scooter:
