Hi all,

Been lurking for a while, thought I would introduce myself as I am firming up plans for a trip hopefully later this year. Some great advice, tips and general info on this site. Thanks!

I've been back riding for about 7 months after a ten year break, still no off road stuff yet though.

Going to try for Alaska - Ushuaia, solo, plan is to buy a KLR in the States before riding North to start my trip. I reckon on about 6 months, but am flexible! I'd dearly love to hear from anyone that has done the route, or has any experience of buying a (new) bike in the US as a Brit.
