Hi everyone. My name is Brian and I live in the SW corner of Pennsylvania in the States. I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was a small boy but just recently purchased my first touring style motorcycle for long distance riding. Over the summer, I rode down to the tip of Florida and back. Then I took my first international ride up into Canada this past fall. I am looking forward to extending my range and experience in 2018.

Whatever you want to know about motorcycle travel there is probably someone here who knows it, I can recommend trying to fit a HUBB travellers meeting into your next trip if you can.

Welcome to the HUBB. I'm UK based but have friends just over the Delaware in NJ, so the other side of the state from you. I keep a bike with them and last May also went up to Canada. It took us around three weeks, going up as far as Quebec and then back through New England. Next trip is heading south to Florida and then along the Gulf coast but that won't be until 2019.

As Mark says, there's a huge amount of expertise on the site for travel in just about any part of the planet. You've got a couple of nearby HU events coming up - one in Virginia in April and in NC in the Fall / autumn. Make the effort, go along, and you'll be amazed at what people are doing on bikes.
