Hi this is first post just to say hello ,
Ive mainly travelled by Landrover in past
but have just purchased triumph tiger 800 xc so i will be looking
to go on an adventure in 2013, I am amazed at the amount of
information for motorbike travel on HU ,

As you have found there is all the information you could possibly need on here. Try to get to one of the annual meets, either the big one at Donington or the Autumn meeting in the Mendips, which is pretty close to you.
