Hi All,

I am new to the forum but not to the Horizons Unlimited website. I have been a news letter subscriber for 10+ years.

I am just starting to think / plan a RTW for sometime next year. It will not be a year long ride as I have a family who says they need me around and I have a job I need.

I am thinking about a 4 month ride, yy current thinking is a 4 to 6 month event starting in the US then on to Europe, Northern Africa, Italy, Poland, Russia, China, Australia, South America and back to the US.

Maybe a RTW travel in small pieces could go , i met a guy last year in the Lofotens , Norway, who was doing this sort of split RTW , is name is Sam Longiaru and is from BC in Canada and riding a 1974 BMW R 60/6 ,you can visit his website "TheTwilightProject.net" it's very interesting. I came to HU after his advising :thumbup1:

Hi, I have ridden around most of the world in different segments over 7 years or so. That worked good for me. I live in Nova Scotia if you come through this way, always have a meal and a bed for an international biker.
I ride a 93 R100GS and a 98 R1100 GS.
