I've re-joined HU after several years away.
In the mean time I've moved house, had kids, had a career change, and a new wife, but really miss my bike trips so im hoping to get some miles under my belt again soon. Its been too long.

I dont think she'll be joining me to be honest, she hates the thought of getting wet and cold on the back of a bike or so she keeps telling me :)

Well you could try planning to ride in warm dry places. alternatively there is good equipment out there to keep the cold and wet at bay. Alternatively you could just go off by yourself!

I can’t say too much on this as my wife started riding pillion but stopped when she found that the bike trousers were a couple of sizes up from her normal size. It took me 20+ years to find out that was the reason.
