Hello from Seattle! Taking a one year trip to South America this year!
 

Hi folks:

My name is David, and I'm 27, and I'm taking a one year trip to South America this year on my V-Strom 650. Planning on leaving the end of this summer around August - October time frame.

I look forward to meeting fellow riders (would love to meet up with folks doing parts of this ride on the road), getting advice, and learning a lot from those much more experienced than I. I will be blogging about this, likely on davidparkinson.com.
