Hi frequent travellers,

I am Seisi, an Austrian living since some times in the Netherlands. Together with my girlfriend we spent the last 5 years' vacations on bikes throughout Europe. Soon we will swap from RT to GS and a tour in Southern Africa is already planned. We will have a lot of questions to you experts regarding the other climate and pavement there compared to what we are used to. Hopefully the knowledge of the community will help making the future routes a success.

Other data: riding since 1996, but seriously since 2001 with about 15000 km per year. 49 years old with hobbies traveling, skiing, sailing....

Hello Seisi, a novice traveller myself,, I would suggest you watch "Long way Down" by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. to get a rough idea of what its like over there. I believe you can find it on Netflix.
