JJ from Kentucky, USA.
Currently have a crf300l rally, 310gs and '53 Harley 165 (2 stroke flat track bikes originally)

I am itching to get riding. Just created a route to hit the 14 states I have never actually traveled in and visited; hope to make that trip in the near future. Also looking now for some offroad training to always get better. My plans are to ride several different routes in the USA within the next 12-16 months, primarily offroad/dirt track routes. (BDR's, Continental Divide by UTV / Side by Side, possibly the TAT)

Just north of Nashville if anyone needs some help along their route or want to chat about some possible riding together.

Welcome to the forum :)

Off-road training is a very good idea to prepare for when things get tricky - getting out on easy full track trails and fire roads and just getting used to how the bike moves on dirt / gravel / rocks is also good. If you're going off-road solo remember to let someone know your route though, even if it's an easy ride - unlike the road it's possible to crash and not have anyone pass by for weeks in some places.
