Hello from Santa Maria, Santa Barbara County, California, USA. True paradise.

I'm a motorcycle guy for the past 43 years or so (I'm 53). For work, I'm a machinist in the Natural Gas Industry. Formerly a machinist for the World Champion Top Fuel Drag Racing Team. And before that, a machinist for a NASCAR Support Shop and also in a shop working for an AMA Superbike Tuner of the Year. It's been an interesting ride, that's for sure.

Adventure Rider? No, not really. I just ride pretty much every day Right now, riding a 2006 KTM 950 Supermoto and an 04 Kawasaki KX250 (2 stroke). Recently sold a Ducati S4 916 powered Monster.

Looking forward to whatever goes on here.

:welcome: There are a few Californians here, I'm in Marin. I get down to your area on rides from time to time. Love the Los Padres and dirt tracks up behind Santa Barbara, and of course 33 and other good paved roads. We do a dual sport ride down there once in a while based out of Pismo. (3 day ride)

Great collection of bikes. My last KX two stroke was an '02. Long sold now, not riding much pure dirt, just easy stuff on my DR650.

Any plans for longer international travel?
One can never know too many machinists...my favorite people :thumbup1:

Hey there! I live in Anaheim and ride occasionally. I have a '14 S10, a kx250 smoker and a crf250x.

Hoping to ride next year to Prudhoe Bay and maybe Ushuaia when dough permits.
