UK to Mongolia..Need advise from experienced riders!
 

Hi,
I'm looking to ride from UK to Mongolia on a 125 bike. I've been riding for years but usually in central America and SE Asia where my lack of bike licence has never been an issue!
Here are my questions:
As I have a UK car licence, if I just do my CBT and drive with L plates to get out of UK am I likely to run into trouble with the European boarders? Also am I likely to run into trouble getting stopped on the central Asian borders? I'm guessing I would be alright as the UK driving licence has a little picture of a motorbike on the back of it! Advice from someone who has done the journey and knows what the police or border guards are looking for.
Also how much of a nightmare is the paperwork? I drove a 4x4 most the way up Africa and a lot of planning was needed to get a carnet De passage etc. Is it equally as difficult?
