UK to Thailand

Riding from UK to Thailand in March through China, has anyone imported a UK bike into Thailand before?
Any information would be great

i will try to keep my bike in for some time by doing temporary imports (see page for details)

importing costs you around 170% tax of your bikes value as far as i know,
mostly not an opinion.
