My 1966 Honda Superhawk was my first touring bike and in 1973 I traveled for a whole summer in Canada with no major problems. I sold it to buy a new 1974 Norton that I rode from Minnesota to Mexico in the dead of winter.
Over the years I've owned just about every bike brand available and still ride almost daily. Lately, I've also added two maxi-scooter and 6 ebikes to my riding. I'll ride until I can no longer get my leg over the seat.
Years ago I met Grant at a gathering at Iron Horse in North Carolina, which is where I became familiar with HUBB.

Welcome from northern MN. Living in Madison then, my first moto was a low priced BMW /2 with 100,000 miles on it. Lots of riding then and still. That Superhawk was a lot more trouble free than what Canadians could afford to ride in those times.

Welcome :)

Do you ever have the itch to get another Superhawk and redo the same journey again?

I "graduated" to a 305 Super Hawk from a 125cc Benly. The Hawk was a beautiful bike in every sense of the word, and bullet proof. From there i went on to a CB750. Wish I had all of them now.

Nothing but fond memories of the Superhawk but the Black Bomber remains on my dream bike list.
I'm thinking of another Superhawk owner who did a better job of chronicling his trip.

I lived 35 miles NW of Duluth when I returned from Canada and rode all over the Iron Range.
