Once you have your visa support reference issued, you can get the visa at any Iranian Embassy or Consulate.

I have got Iranian visas in London, Bishkek, Islamabad (twice), Munich and Yerevan.

Hussein is still offering his services - he messaged me recently about it. But I understood that it was only for 14 days? (But I could be wrong).
I met a Greek guy in Tehran last year who entered from Armenia without a visa (in fact, we met at the Turkmenistan embassy and it was the first time he'd even heard of needing a visa.......:eek3:)

From what I understand the CdP substitute is valid for 7 days only except when you enter through Armenia (exit doesn't matter). In this case it appears to be more or less unlimited.

I personally found his offer not too attractive at a rate of roughly 600 Euros.
