wonder ıf anyone can help on thıs one
ıs ıt best to take u.s. dollars ınto ıran / pakıstan / ındıa / and then change them ın the respectıve country ı have asked ın Ankara and the money exchange places dont seem to stock currency for asıa ta ın advance andy |
For Iran I'm taking some € in cash, apparently they are more than happy taking them. For the other countries I'm taking mainly plastic, some € travellers cheques (for places without ATMs) and whatever is left of my € cash. I will probably take 200 US$ with me, should be enough for emergencies.
Off tomorrow morning! :D |
ATM's in Iran not connected to international banking systems thanks to US sanctions..... also can not cash travellers cheques there. :taz:
the upshot is you need to have enough cash with you for Iran - yankee dollars preferably.... :cursing: In Pakistan, India, Nepal, etc ther are ATM's where you can draw funds in local currency. |
