Entering Bangladesh and Nepal on an Indian registered bike
I am off on a three month trip to India in January and hope to buy a bike there for the trip. Due to me getting an unexpected multiple entry visa I am now thinking of visiting Nepal and Bangladesh as well and was wondering what experience people had of doing this on an Indian registered bike which as I understand it will not be registered in my name but that of the previous Indian owner.
While talking about Bangladesh does anyone have experience of their visa on arrival, can a UK passport holder get one? |
Gday Mark,
I'm not sure about Bangladesh, but Nepal I know about. For Nepal you simply rock up to the border, and get your visa. You will also have to go to a different office to get a visa for your bike. I think currently it costs about 150 Nepali rupees per day, for a maximum stay of 15 days ( Could be 1 month ). Which border are you planning to cross? |
