Entering Iran on bike not registered in my name
Hello people,
I wonder if anyone has the answer to this tricky question! I am hoping to borrow a bike in the autumn to ride from Europe to Iran. But I won't be the registered keeper. Will that be a problem when entering Iran (or indeed, any other non-Euro countries)? Any thoughts/experiences gratefully received. Lois |
Hello,
1-TURKEY A-Letter of attorney given by the official owner name of the bike to your complete name as it is in your passport and stamped-confirmed by a notary, consulate or embassy. B-Or document given by Touring-Automobile club in your country if member of international AIT or FIA organisations. C-No carnet needed. 2-IRAN A-Letter of attorney B-Sometimes they ask for official persian translation of the above document. C-Carnet is a must..Also available without carnet but need a lot of time, document, money and patience..Better never sign documents you dont know the meaning at any bordergate.. Hope helps. Wish you all the best. Keep this law article as a proof if you may need while entering Turkey. """ 8. Vekâlet belgesi olarak neler kabul edilmektedir?
