Exhaust/Muffler Repack in Turkey
 

Need to get my Wings muffler repacked

I am in Turkey at the moment, south coast, heading to Istanbul first week of April (2023)

Anyone know of anywhere that could do the repack for me?

Turkey has a lot of motorbikes and a lot of mechanics. Any big city is filled with mechanics. Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Adana. Just search "motorcycle shop" on google maps and plenty should pop up.

Also don't be scared to negotiate for the price, it's part of the culture.

Some of the smaller mechanics might be specialised in scooters, so it might be worth going to a brand workshop like: Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda etc...

Thanks for the reply, if only it were that simple, had alreasy asked many repair shops in Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya and many other places, noone prepared to touch it as noone had ever heard of having to repack a muffler, not even the KTM, Yamaha or Honda dealers.

I did think of that, but hoped I may not have to go down that route, the rivets do really need an air driven rivet gun if you are using the proper rivets and not one's that will fail in short order.
