Help needed in Mumbai, India!!
Hi All! This is my first post on HU. I hope someone can help..
I am stuck in Mumbai - Does anyone know the contact details of a good trustworthy mechanic here that has experience with foreign bikes/importing parts? My triumph bonneville 2008 model has, amongst other things, a burnt out clutch and is undrivable. I have managed to get it the last few hundred kms to bombay on the back of a truck but am having little luck finding a mechanic.. Looks like I may be stuck here for some time. Any helps would be really appreciated!! 5 months into a solo London to Australia trip.. Dan |
Try asking over on 60kph - Motorcycle Travel Club, India and also here at Horizons Unlimited Motorcycle Travellers' Community - Contact a Community!
In India everything is fixable. Good luck! PS Also changed title to something more useful and moved to correct sub-forum |
Thanks Chris! I will do.
Yeah I am a complete novice with forums.. |
Thanks to all that have offered to help!! Great to see how much support there is out there! I am afraid I cant yet respond to private msgs (I dont have my 5 posts just yet) but I have found very helpful mechanics in Bandra - Joshua and Mario at Mario's Garage. Hopefully ill be on the road again soon!!
