India/Nepal to SE Asia via China - possible???
 

I am aware of the difficulties in crossing Burma as a means of getting from India to SE Asia and am looking for other options besides air shipping of my bike.

What about going from India/Nepal into SE Asia via China, is this a feasible route? I know about the difficulties for travelling through China independently, but I know that motorcycling in China is possible with the proper permissions, guide, etc. I will be going through Xinjang province on the bike in a couple of weeks with all the legal paperwork.

Would this be a feasible route in December or January of this year or would the winter make travel impossible?

If anyone has any information on this or can provide a link to someone that can arrange the paperwork in China (if its possible), I would appreciate it!
