Iran/Azerbaijan/Georgia/Turkey in April/May 2022
 

3 of us leaving today for a 35 day Iran/Azerbaijan/Georgia/Turkey trip.
From Istanbul one of us would be proceeding to UK while 2 shall return.
Shall be riding small displacement 200-250 bikes capable of cruising @ 90-100kph.
Suggestion/advices would be appreciated.

In Georgia, make sure to go up to Svaneti. The road is paved nicely all the way up to Mestia, accessible by any passenger car. From there to Ushguli it's a broken but existent road (for 4x4 vehicles - should be fine on a small bike with knobbly tires). You can take a local shared van (marshrutka) from Mestia to Ushguli if you don't think your bike is up for it.
