please forgive my ignorance but is it necessary/advisable/not advisable to declare your intention to travel thru their country on a motorbike when applying for visa.

Hi Rossmac,

In Holland we did not need to give any travel information, we just simpley received the visa after paymant.

Hi just got my PK visa in Kathamndu. They asked (verbally) where I was going and how I was going there, and their only response was "what's the hurry, you should spend more time there" (I asked for 2 weeks and theyt gave me a three month visa, same price !)

I got my Indian visa first in a new passport. When i took the passport to the Pakistan consulate he seemed to stop at the page with the Indian visa in it and then he asked for more information about what i planned to do.

When i said i was planning to ride from Scotland to Nepal he just gave me a big smile and nodded.
