Long term parking in Pakistan
As the Pakistan/India border is closed...
One option just came to my mind. I could park the bike in Pakistan for a couple of weeks and locally arrange a bike in India. After my trip I'd pick up the bike and return home? Has anyone ever left the bike behind in Pakistan? Do you see any problem? Cheers, Wauschi |
You could ask The Motorcycle Travellers of Pakistan if you do Facebook, I think there might be a member here who is in it.
https://en-gb.facebook.com/groups/750155558445976/ Karakorum Bikers might also be able to help, I have rented from them and found them helpful. https://www.karakorambikers.com/ Either way you might have to get permission from Pakistan customs to leave it there as it will come in on a carnet. |
Mark, thanks for your comment.
As you said, it comes with a CdP, so why should I need a permission to leave the bike behind. I have already put down a deposit. (I wouldn't even know where to ask for a "permission") Wauschi |
