Looking for an address to ship some parts to Iran
 

I need to ship some parts to Iran like air filter and few other things, not bulky. I have a company that ships to Iran but I need and address obviously, I thought about a hotel but finding hotels in Iran and waiting for their reply via email takes ages unfortunately.

If someone has an address in Iran, preferably Tehrean, it would be much appreciated, I would pay a fee or something to ship there of course. I am currently in Turkey and I expect to be in Teheran in 2 to 3 weeks.

In my case the German embassy offered for me as a German kind help for a small fee. They gave me an adress at their embassy which would apparently ease up problems with customs. I didn't actually need them because I managed to move on by improvising with the locals' help but it seems they had experience with the whole thing. Maybe your embassy can help aswell.

You can else ask in the southern part of Teheran where they have lots of small shops to get the stuff for you. The locals are awesome in Tehran!

I'm in Iran as I need some parts ASAP I had to use DHL express from Europe, it takes 4 to 6 working days.

I paid 150 euros for a few spares, like 3kg. It is freaking expensive but that's the urgency. Normal delivery can take from 1 week to 3 weeks, it really depends.

Now I am ordering a different batch with some spares and tyres, from UK to India or Pakistan, I will use DHL but normal delivery, so expect 50 eur delivery and around 2-3 weeks shipping time.

I will update you once I have done it.

Any DHL depot you can address to your name and 'hold at depot'. I stayed at vali's homestay in MASHAD whilst he sorted me out a transit visa for Turkmenistan, and had a tyre delivered from UK by TNT
