Machismo Vs Bullet 500

I hope to buy an Royal Enfield in India and ship it back to Ireland. I like the Bullet and would go for a 500 for the extra power, but I am tempted by the new Machismo - a 350.It is a more modern but equally atttractive bike -
Can anyone advise me on this.
Many Thanks

I'd vote for the Machismo just for the name. Imagine the possibilities:

"Would you like to come over and experience my Machismo?"

"I'm going to go polish my Machismo."

"I've got the best Machismo in the city."

I'm sure you can think of many more. I wonder if they are marketing the Machismo in South America.

have you actually SEEN the machismo...
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.....stop to breathe.... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ....

try to imagine... big hair, very tight nylon trousers, huge mustaches and a motorcycle....this my friend is the indian embodyment of the machismo... a mans machine. unfortunately what the indians thnink of masculinity comes across as extorordinarily gay in the western world.

if a motorcyle could be a stand up comedy act then that bike would be eddie murphy from the mid eighties.. all that tight red leather and crotch grabbing.
machismo...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....phil.ha ha
thats soooooo funnny.

Watch out for the AVL engines. There have been loads of problems with them since their introduction. You may find it a little difficult to get maintainance done on them in out of the way places in India. I'd definately go for the standard 500cc, -well tried and easy to get fixed.
