Motor crossing from Thailand>Laos>Cambodia>Vietnam
 

Hello,

I'm currently in Bangkok, I plan on being in Chiang Mai for a few days next week until I leave the country. I would like to travel Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam with a motorbike. I started looking at the requirements, but I am getting stuck with moving from Laos to Cambodia and Cambodia to Vietnam with a Thai registered bike.

Anyone have any insight on how this is done?

Hi,

usually you cannot enter Vietnam with a thai-licensed motorbike. You must have a vietnamese licenseplate. There are only exceptions for locals in bordercrossing areas.
