Hi,

I'm planning a trip to India. My idea goes like this: Find a hostel/hotel/apartment in one place, rent a motorcycle, travel around, then take a train to another place and repeat the cycle. Mumbai and Goa are definitive stops, but I'm still figuring out venues in between.

I have couple questions:
1) Should I rent a bike in advance (via Internet sites) or on-site? Do you recommend me something in particular?
2) Is it reasonable to rent a bike in Mumbai, travel with it for 2 weeks and then give it back in Goa? I checked couple offers and they seem pretty expensive
3) Maybe I will have luck and someone will join me? :-) Feel free to write!

I'm open to any advice you can offer me :-)
