Does anyone know if there is a passenger ship from anywhere in SE Asia to New Zealand?

Well I can´t be absolutely 100% certain of this... but at least in the case of Australia, there was no passenger ship going from Indonesia in 2008, and I don´t think there has been any change in that later on. There don´t seem to be any passenger ships going between Oz and NZ for that matter. In general, the number of international ferry lines seems to go down all the time, also in Asia. Therefore I would be, shall I say, extremely surprised, if there really was a passenger ship going between SE Asia & NZ.

there are loads of Cruises calling into NZ, not from SE Asia, more Oz and the Pacific Islands, so maybe you can change boats somewhere?

and I forgot to add, definitely container ship to NZ from Singapore, my motorbike changed containers for a direct vessel there.
