Ride Report - Malaysia and Southern Thailand
I've just got back from a two-week trip in Malaysia and Southern Thailand - ride report (with pics) at North from Singapore - ADVrider. If you're planning a trip through Malaysia, I can definitely recommend crossing from Thailand into Malaysia at Sadao (west coast), then using the Grik Highway (aka East-West Highway) to cross the peninsula then heading down the East coast of Malaysia. Cherating was particularly nice, but almost the whole ride is gorgeous. West coast of Malaysia is definitely faster (great quality highway the whole way up) but in my opinion nowhere near as pretty.

Good choice!
:welcome:
I would do the same, most riders tend to ride the north-south hiway quickly & leaving Malaysia too soon! they just dont know what theyre missing! :funmeterno: So where are you now, Geof? |
