Russia to Alaska ???
 

Hi

I am intending to ride from Lake Baikal to a point where I can cross in to Alaska ... any information about the area I will be travelling in and ferry routes (across the Bering Straight?) would be appreciated.

This is a topic which has featured in many Bulletin Board posts over the last year. I have provided links to several of the most relevant below, but we now have a good search facility, so you can Search the site from the home page on the words Magadan and Alaska to find all references on the website.

We know that Air Magadan flew from Magadan to Alaska in 1999, but the cost is very expensive - $5.50 per kilo. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/tri...danToAnchorage
