Shipping to Mumbai
 

Has anyone flown a bike into Mumbai? Are there any pitfalls or tricky customs policies?

I´ve airfreighted my bike out of Chennai... haven´t shipped to/from Mumbai. But I think that Indian bureaucracy, combined with the size of that city, could really make it interesting and, sad to say, nerve-wrecking!!

But if you decide to do it, please do report here, how it went for you.

Thanks for the reply. I've decided to put India off for this part of the trip. Mostly because can't justify flying unless it's over an ocean. I thought about for awhile and decided against it.
