Srirangapatna, Karnataka, South India
 

In the 1960s I rode a motorbike overland Singapore-London, spending many months in India. In Karnataka (Mysore State as it then was) I met a lady who intended opening a leprosarium at Scott's Bungalow in Srirangapatna, about twelve miles NE of Mysore City. I would very much like to hear from anyone who has recent experience of Srirangapatna, and who also knows something about Scott's Bungalow.

hi Peter,
the lady's name is Ivette. she is still around and living in Scotts Bungalow by the river.. it is a fab place and she still takes care of it all by herself.
she has been working with the local women of the area.
she has two sons - Jamie is a man of many skills - film making, conservation, business and much more.
Rupert the other fellow - is into photography and travels all over..
i guess its time u made another trip to India..
