Thailand During rainy season
Hi,
My only time to get away is during the rainy season(june & july). I was hoping to rent a bike and tour Thailand and maybe some bordering countrys. Ive heard the season can be rough. Any advice? Im a veteran rider but this will be my 1st big moto trip. During the wet season it usually only rains for an hour or so each day. Sure, it's a downpour, but it's not all day. If anything it makes the temperature a little cooler, which is a lot more comfortable. Enjoy your trip, Hamish

Rain in Thailand is not that big problem since most of the roads are paved, so the only problem is to get wet, I was in Thailand (Pai) in June and not big deal. If you are heading to Cambidia then things can be a bit more problematic since the roads in Cambodia are not good, especially the road from Poipet to Siem Riep ( Ankor Wat), i did it with a fully loaded Africa Twin so is doable but you will have to drive very very careful, and remeber you will not be allowed to drive in Ankor Wat ....
Cheers and Enjoy Mauro Quote:
