I tried to get an extension for my motorbike but it is not possible. The temp vehicle permit can not be longer than your visa. I only have a 15 day visa and I go to China without the bike for 6 months. So they advised me to just leave the bike in Bangkok and pay a fine when leaving the country. The fine is 100 bath a day with a maximum of 2000. I told them I would leave the bike for 6-10 months..don't worry they said.
