two/three wheels in Kirgizistan?
 

Hi there,

A mate of mine wants to rent/buy a motorbike in Kirgizistan and drive around the country for about 6 weeks. Are there any motorbike rentals or is it possible to buy a russian/chinees motorbike with sidecar? (Oeral, Dnepr, Xingjang etc.)
Has any done this before and does anybody know what we they should expect to pay for something that's driving and reliable?

i drove in central asia in summer 2002
it s hard to rent any bike even local ones but easy to buy local ones even foreign ones even though there are no dealers, on ly a few foreign second hands

you ll find some official dealers in kazakhstan (bmw, yamaha)

you ll have more chances in ouzbekistan too
