has anybody ever took a vietnam registerd 125 into indonisia . i beleave you sould have a carnet ( right or wrong ) to go into malasia and indonisia . whats my chance of pulling it of and then taking the bike on a ferry to the phillipines?

It was some time ago now but Malaysian customs were not interested in the carnet on my UK registered bike so you should be able to get that far at least, no idea about Indonesia.
