Visa for Vietnam ?

Just a quick question,

As a UK passport holder, I read a visa is still required for tourism, of less than 30 days.?

Is this correct still?

As far as I'm aware it is. We're in Vietnam at the moment and applied for our 30 day visa in Bangkok (we're not aware of a shorter option). It took 3 days and was incredibly straight forward.

You can also have a visa organised from most travel shops in Phnom Penh, If I recall 20 or 30 us dollars

Thank you both for the wise words.
We are in China at the moment, and have contacted an agent in Nanning.
He will do both of our visas.
All done by post, and each cost £30
We will post our passports to them today with EMS secure.
He will obtain the visas, and scan and email them, then we pay him by card, and he returns the completed pasports.
