WANTED: Bike in Uzbekistan, Kyrgistan, or Kazakstan approx April
 

I am planning a trip through the 'stans and back to Europe starting approximately April and am looking for something that will make the trip. I'm pretty flexible on place (preferably Tashkent, Bishkek, or Almaty) and the type of bike.

I would also appreciate any ideas that anyone might have on how to get a bike. I'm not finding much information on the web.

As in most countries, you'll need a permanent address to register it to, though. You may also find getting insurance challenging if you don't have a local licence. But try these guys:

What passport are you traveling with and where is your address?

I have both US and Panama passports, so whichever works is what I use. I have a nephew living in Tashkent, so I could probably use his address for registering the bike.
