Wanted carnet experience in Iran
 

Hi I am planning a trip to Iran, as anybody attempted to make a Carnet at the border turkey/Iran ?

To make a Carnet in Italy I have to "spend" MOT fee+Bank fee+fidejussion, that is 3 times the value of my bike (if I make it in Rome) or an amount equal to retail price of the most similar bike currently on sale (if I make it in Milan) !!!???

Several years ago I made a carnet in Milan and I had to made a Fidejusision for 6k euro, I went to Siria and I found out some peoples were makink the same carnet at the border for 250 usd and no deposit at all!!!!

How does it work in your country ?
Has anybody attempeted to make the carnet at the Iranian border ?
