What's the latest on the Myanmar/India border?
 

Hi guys,

I'm getting a few mixed messages on whether the border from Myanmar into India at Tamu can be crossed with a private vehicle.

From the comms I've had with Burma Senses they make no mention of it being a problem, but then from chatting to a friend of a friend who's a government tourism official it isn't possible.

Has anyone got the latest information here? Is it possible for a vehicle with a carnet to cross?

Bloody hope so, we have all just paid our deposits with Burma senses.
