any trail riders out there
 

anyone out there like trail riding?
just got rid of my XT.looking for a comuter and a trail bike then in the summer an AT or GS but until then must get some kicks doing some trailing.

I'm after a light trail bike such like a crm250, xr400 etc.. any ideas of what are good?

I'm only looking to spend £1200 ish as i tend to trash em. Ive had an xr250 which was good but lacking in power, an XR400 are very rare in the uk unless you pay £3000 and Ive also had a CRM250 which kicked ass but the suspension are a bit too soft on them and are costly to upgrade.

Best bet is to buy 'Trail bike monthly' and 'Trials and motorcross news' Ebay is also worth a look.

For £1200 you may well get a DR350. Other than that your really looking at 250's such as an XLR, Djebel, or a 225 Serrow. You'll get a DR650 for that amount, but there a bit big for trail riding.

If it were me I'd go for a Serrow as there well made and hold here value. You'll be able to sell it on for what you paid for it.
