side stand is too long - then again the optional centre stand is 60euro - should I just get that?

Have a WK400 since January, now with 6000 miles on the clock. Bike has been perfect.
Unfortunately dropped it this weekend on a forecourt and the gear lever holed the engine casing. Gutted to say the least.
Highly recommend grinding the sharp inner side of the lever and making some kind of case saver

I got some plastic metal and will try to stick some kind of protection on in advance of a trip.... thanks for the heads up. What kind of hand guards did you fit ? The standard ones are tolerable (and don't foul the screen) but don't offer much weather protection and surely cant be overly strong.....

I also wonder if there is a taller screen option - the Geon Grandtour seems (?) to have a taller one than my Mash 400R adventure...
