I appear to have lost March. Where did it go? It seems I've woken up on April 1st!

Adventure bikes form a large sector of the bike market. This sector is sub-divided into smaller categories - 1 of which is overlanding.
Neither of these bikes fall into that category so, at this time, they are not for me. However, thanks for bringing them to my attention. If I win the lottery I will be looking to fill a large garage with lots of bikes. I once rode a friend’s Buell and thought it was amazing so will definitely check out the adventure tourer :thumbup1: |

They aren't going to call them "Huge Touring Bikes with willy waving statistics and a list of accessories that'll get you well into the second mocho choco latte without anyone asking why its only done 700 miles in 18 months" bikes are they. The whole point of "categories" is so punters can convince themselves that if only they had a new Sport-Adventure-Tourer instead of their old Adventure-Retro Touring -Sports they'll finally get over 100 VLOG views. Mostly just graphics and different OE tyres. The rendering of the Buell looks curiously like the Toasty Toaster Harley-Davidson, which doesn't strike me as something either company would want. Wait for the spec sheet, it'll probably be a fun bike on certain roads/race tracks. Andy |
