Hendikaf, I'm not 100% sure to properly understand your comment, but 90% of chances its tone is not my cup of tea.

I gave 1st hand advise to Henryuk about how to get cash quickly in Iran, just extended a little bit with an anecdote (in YOUR thread, I know, out of place). Later I actually gave some continuity to your thread with (I reckon) a pretty "over-used" joke about BMW cardans since the bike has an engine car as shown in the picture. I don't know if it bothered you that a moderator asked you for photos, but sorry, don't blame me or anyone else. I actually supported you and your thread, maybe you missed that. FYI in general terms I do my best for my comments to be of some use, but of course I may fail as you point out. What is sure is that I'm not willing to have any argument with you, so it won't happen. I'll just move along as you requested.

PS: If I took it wrong due to a poor English understanding, then it's ok. Otherwise, it is not.

Customising bikes is still easy enough in the UK (law wise). Whilst I'm not suggesting I'm any good at fabrication/engineering, in the past I've done a hardtail chop ratbike, and made a sidecar from scratch. I've got an old mate who really knows his stuff, and I believe he is now working on his 4th diesel engined bike.

I always fancied making a trailbike using an old british engine (probably unit construction though), but fairly modern suspension etc. You'd get a lot of interest traveling on something like that.

I think that this was the sort of thing you were talking about, although I am not sure it fits the criteria of cheaper than a BMW but certainly different.

yes Mark , it seems expensive sometime but in long run it may not be , I saw few bikes similar in the US and they were cheap to maintain and were performing pretty well , now if you got the $$$ you may as well by the KTM of your choice but it always good to have or make option
